Cartographers from ancient and medieval times often placed dragons and other mythical creatures to symbolise dangerous and uncharted territories. Often, maps simply had 'here be dragon' written on them for unexplored places. This practice is a humble reminder that there is always something we don't know or we can't record. Join us as we use tools of embroidery to create funky maps of things that are our personal dragons.
